Thaddeus Bruce Raymond III is an aspiring writer who knows a thing or two about weddings since he has been in more of them, over the years, than he can count.  Always the groomsman, never the groom, Thaddeus has no problem being invited to a wedding or even being in one, but he feels haunted by the fact that he has yet to stroll down the matrimonial aisle in a wedding of his own. A great guy by anyone’s standards, Thaddeus has to reconcile that he remains single due to circumstances which have caused him to be a bit reluctant to fall in love.

Tiffany Waters, his first love and the mother of his child, is a constant thorn in Thaddeus’ side.  Her need to control him and every aspect of his relationship with their daughter has reared its ugly head as the main culprit in making him apprehensive when it comes to relationships with women in general. Once bitten and twice shy in matters of the heart, Thaddeus tries to focus on reaching his goals in life, while constantly juggling issues concerning love, baby mama drama, a dead-end job and other stresses in life.

A damaged perception of relationships has Thaddeus all but ready to give up on any idea of finding a wife…that is until Vanessa comes along. Beautiful, witty, and down to earth, Vanessa turns out to be the perfect match for Thaddeus; but is it too late for him to separate himself from his past issues with women long enough to cultivate a relationship with Vanessa? Can love conquer all or will his past break the heart of his future?

The Wedding Man is an engrossing story of one man’s desire to move past his trust issues and insecurities in order to give love a chance.

The things men don’t talk about…..the matters of the heart. Being able to truly see what’s to the soul of a man and understand those deep rooted emotions that a man hides from the rest of the world can be an impossible fete to accomplish. It takes very special lenses on the eyes of the beholder to be allowed to see through the often shadowed window to a man’s soul. This is no different for Trevor Alexander. Trevor Alexander is a bachelor and smooth talker that enjoys the life of being single and able to come and go as he pleases with any women that he desires to do it with……or is he? Circumstances and an unfortunate life-changing experience in his past changed a loving man down to his soul. A once ready to settle down young man to a now bachelor driven man has to deal with those skeletons that he chose to store in the depths of his closet that he has been hell bent on keeping from escaping the closet.

The window to his soul has been shut off to the world never to be opened again, at least that was the original thoughts. That is until a woman with a very unique name, Deisyre Moore, came along to breathe light back into his soul, enough for her to see what’s there and start the process of allowing Trevor to open that window back up. The relationship formed with Ms. Moore turns out to be a pleasant surprise to Trevor, one of which he didn’t see coming. What he also didn’t see coming was someone from his past coming back into his world to reopen old wounds.

Trish Parker, Trevor’s first true love and mother of his deceased son, reappearance brings a cloud of trouble back over Trevor’s life, which leads to potential deadly situations that Trevor is left to encounter. This woman from his past brings chaos into the life of Trevor leading him to have to face the pain that he buried away with his son……the pain that led Trevor to create a character for himself to live which is the polar opposite of who he was as a person prior to a life altering tragedy. As Trevor’s life gets flipped upside down he has to make a decision to re-enter his past and make amends on what he should have done in the first place. Will Trevor’s decision to reopen the window to his soul and face his past be the death of him?
